5 Hot New Communities in Charlottesville

Hello I’m Ashley Jurney from Town Realty! Ever wonder how to search for communities near you but don’t know where to start? Today we are going to give you 5 hot new communities in Charlottesville and the facts that you want to know.

Number 1 is Belmont Point. Very close to Belmont and downtown Charlottesville, this community is sure to spark your interest. If you value easy access to the highway then you’ve come to the right spot. Jackson Via, Buford and Charlottesville High School are all within the district. Imagine the spring afternoons as you enjoy a stroll to a local Belmont restaurant for an early dinner. Then a quick stop at the Belmont Park and your home in time for your favorite show!

Number 2 on our list is Cascadia on Pantops Mountain. You bring the family and Cascadia will provide the views. This mountain top community includes a pool, Walking Trails, a Clubhouse, Community Gardens and a Playground. For the furry family there is also Darden Towe Dog Park a short distance away! Stone Robinson, Burley and Monticello High School are the schools for that area. Get swept away in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Number 3 is Lochlyn Hill, a unique and shameless community. 65% of the homes border a park or green space and have some great amenities. Amenities include park shelter, fire pit, playground, interactive water feature and community gardens. UVA is only 3.7 miles, the downtown mall is 2.2 miles away and there are tons of grocery stores and gyms for you to choose from. The closest schools are Greenbrier & Charlottesville High School.

Number 4 is none other than Belvedere (no not the vodka). 5 miles of trails, 10 minutes by bicycle to the downtown mall, access to the Rivanna trail, a multi purpose villiage green with a fire pit, need I go on? This eclectic community has thought of it all. Lots of playing field space, a dedicated dog park, an organic farm, and a walkable town center make it very enticing. Schools include Agnur-Hurt, Burley and Albemarle High School.

That leaves us with Number 5, Rivanna Village. This Brand new community is the baby of the group. The proximity is ideal for folks who love to be close to town but not feel like they directly on top of people. This community will feature an 18-acre park with picnic pavilions, ponds, dog park, playgrounds, multi-purpose sports field, trails and more. Within the Albemarle County school district, this quaint community welcomes you with open arms.

As Charlottesville continues to grow so will the amount of communities to choose from. Town Realty is dedicated to bringing you the current facts about your town so you can be informed! Subscribe to our youtube and stay tuned for more videos to help you live your best life.
